The project entailed the removal of 65 street lights located on wooden poles and installation of 114 new light standards in the historic Magnolia District .  Of the 114 new street lights, 32 were refurbished old cast iron streetlight poles which were retrofitted with new electrical components and 82 were new ornamental light fixtures which complement the historic context of the neighborhood.
