Service Notes
The following services are available to Stockton residents at a nominal cost. Call your service provider’s Customer Service Center for more information or to schedule a service.

General Reminders:
- Each cart is serviced weekly when placed at curbside on the designated service day. To see when your service day is, click here.
- Place materials in their approriate cart - YELLOW for recycling, GREEN for green waste - food waste and DARK GRAY for trash. Failure to do so may result in no service or additional service charges.

Cart Placement:
- Roll your carts into the street and place them against the curb. Place carts about three feet from each other and away from other objects, such as parked cars, low hanging trees, basketball poles or utility poles.
Example:

- Do not overfill your carts. Overfilled carts will not be collected.

Municipal Code:
- Scavenging is illegal in Stockton. If you are caught taking recyclables from a recycling cart (other than your own), you are guilty of a misdemeanor and may be cited. (Stockton Municipal Code 7-051.9)
