The City’s contract with your garbage company allows an annual rate adjustment each June 1. The adjustment equals 50% of the change in the Consumer Price Index over a one year period. In conformance with this contract provision, the Stockton City Council approved a 1.24% increase in garbage rates effective June 1, 2007.
The increase in standard commercial rates is shown below.
