Special Services

The following services are available to Stockton residents at a nominal cost. For more information or to schedule a service, call your service provider’s Customer Service Center.

Side Yard Service:

Through this service, wheeled carts are serviced from a location other than at curbside. Residents inform their service provider of the specific location of their carts for regular weekly service.

Please note:

Side Yard Service is available at no charge to the disabled and frail with appropriate documentation (i.e. a doctor's verification).

Bulky Item Pick-Up:

Stockton residents may request pickups for certain bulky items at any time. Bulky items include furniture, large kitchen appliances (i.e. refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, etc.), used hot water heaters or any other item that takes at least two people to carry comfortably.

Please note:

This service must be scheduled prior to placing the bulky item at curbside for removal.

Large Volume Green Waste Collection:

Stockton residents may request a four (4) cubic yard bin or twenty (20) cublic yard debris box when needed for a larger volume residential green waste.

Please note:

Stockton Municipal Code 8.04.210 states that it is "... unlawful for any person in the City of Stockton to throw or deposit any recyclable material, green waste, garbage, rubbish or waste matter..." in a public right of way.

Green waste placed loose at curbside will not be collected and resident may be cited.
