Disposal of "Household Hazardous Wastes"Disposal of HHW is just as important as their careful use! HHW may not only be harmful to you and those around you but also the environment if not disposed of properly. HHW should never be thrown away in the trash! To make sure HHW is handled properly, San Joaquin County has opened a permanent HHW disposal facility. The Household Hazardous Waste Consolidation Facility is open to the public three days per week, Thursday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is located at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street in Stockton, California. It is quick and easy to use. Best of all, it is FREE to San Joaquin County residents! |
