  1. Can we purchase plans and specifications by mail?

    Yes, project plans can be purchased through the mail. You may send a check to:

    City of Stockton
    Public Works Department
    22 E. Weber Avenue, Room 301
    Stockton, CA 95202

Please provide the following information along with your payment:


  • The project name or number;
  • A check - payable to the City of Stockton - for the correct amount due. As the cost of project plans and specifications may vary depending upon your request, please contact the Public Works Department at (209) 937-8411 or or submit a question or request via the "Ask Stockton" customer service system to obtain the correct cost; and,
  • The company's name, mailing address, phone number, and fax number.
 

Plans and specifications will be mailed to your company address via California Overnight free of charge. For other couriers, please provide your account number as cost of shipment will be charged to the buyer.

  1. How do we find the Public Works Department?

    Public Works is located at 22 E. Weber Avenue, Stockton, CA 95202. Directions and maps are available through any mapping service (i.e. Mapquest).

  2. Is the payment for the purchase of plans and specifications refundable?

    No. Once plans are purchased, funds received for said plans are non-refundable.

  3. Are reduced plans available?

    Full sized plans are normally available for sale. Reduced plans may be provided upon request. Actual printing cost will be charged to the buyer for any special requests.

  4. What is the engineer's estimate?

    All Public Works project information is available for viewing on EBidBoard, a web-based bid management service.
