Stockton
Police Department -
Community Policing - Valley Oak District
A
message from the Valley Oak District Commander
Lieutenant Jeff Coon
The
boundaries of the Valley Oak District are generally to the north at
Morada Road, west at the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, south at the Calaveras River, and east at State Route 99. Follow this link to view a map of the Valley Oak and other districts.
The Valley Oak District is a rapidly growing area with new housing developments
in the Holman Road, McAllen Road, and east Morada Road areas. The North
Stockton Police Facility began operations in early 2004, in order
to help meet the growing needs of this area and further our community
policing efforts.
Valley Oak District Officers work together as a team to handle service
requests and solve problems, with a focus on crime reduction strategies
in auto theft, auto burglary, and general larceny crimes. Police
Officers, School Resource Officers (SROs), and Community Service Officers
(CSOs) working in the Valley Oak District address quality-of-life issues
brought to their attention through public service requests, visual
observations, and/or assigned requests. These Officers utilize new
and innovative ideas to solve problems throughout the district and
communicate with their Sergeant and other Officers in a team approach
to problem solving.
