| Thirty-four
volunteers assisted City staff with this
year's Waterfest Celebration. The volunteers
worked through several community programs:
City of Stockton Police Junior Cadets, Police
Senior Cadets and Fire
Auxiliary, Edison High Key Club,
San Joaquin Drug Court Alumni, Stockton
Partners and San Joaquin Delta College
AmeriCorps. |

The
Waterfest Volunteers helped locate lost
children, monitored the water feature,
administered first aid, advised Waterfest
goers of the safety rules, helped with
children's games, and assisted fire and
law enforcement in making this event
safe for the community. |

The
Stockton Police Junior Cadets assist
with locating lost children/parents during
large events. With thousands of kids
and lots of fun stuff for the kids to
do, it's easy for the kids to slip away
from loved ones. The Junior Cadets help
locate the children/parents for a happy
reunion. |
