Thirty-four volunteers assisted City staff with this year's Waterfest Celebration. The volunteers worked through several community programs: City of Stockton Police Junior Cadets, Police Senior Cadets and Fire Auxiliary, Edison High Key Club, San Joaquin Drug Court Alumni, Stockton Partners and San Joaquin Delta College AmeriCorps.

The Stockton Police Junior Cadets assist with locating lost children/parents during large events. With thousands of kids and lots of fun stuff for the kids to do, it's easy for the kids to slip away from loved ones. The Junior Cadets help locate the children/parents for a happy reunion.
