National Day of Prayer & Remembrance
September 14, 2001

The Stockton community participated in the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance by attending a Noon ceremony on the steps of City Hall. The ceremony, led by Mayor Gary Podesto, included the Stockton Police Honor Guard, Stagg High School Band, prayer lead by Rabbi Jason Gwasdoff, and patriotic songs lead by the International Gospel Choir. The Buddhist closing prayer was lead by the Wat Dharmararam Buddhist Temple Association.

Below are photos taken at the ceremony.
