Chris Isaak comes home to Stockton
December 29, 1999

On December 29, 1999, Chris Isaak visited Stockton - - his hometown. During his stay, he performed two sold-out shows at the Fox Theatre, received a Key to the City, received an honorary Deputy Sheriff's badge, and was the subject of a segment on Access Hollywood.
The Access Hollywood Crew followed Chris everywhere.	Before going on the steps of City Hall, Chris patiently answered questions from the media in the lobby of City Hall.
The first reporter to speak to Chris was our own Channel 97 Stockton City News reporter, Renee Johnston.
Sheriff Baxter Dunn gives Chris an honorary Deputy Sheriff's badge	This was definitely a media event. At least two local TV stations did their live Noon broadcasts on site
