Swimming Leagues
The Recreation B Swim League is comprised of homeowner association pools and private membership clubs from throughout Stockton, and the city-sponsored Blue Dolphins
Swim Club.
If you belong to an association or club, contact your swim pool
representative to register for a team. If you do not belong to
one of these you may join the Blue Dolphins when they register each spring. The league
is governed by the Recreation B Swim League Board of Directors.
|
Each
of the teams holds practices under the direction of their individual
coaches. A season swim meet schedule is distributed to all teams
and the City
Championship Meet is held at the end of the season.
The following homeowners' association pools are members of this
league: Amblers' Club, Belmont, Brookside West, Colonial Heights,
Country Club, Holiday Park, Lincoln 1 & 5, Lincoln Village
West, Linden, Mallards of Brookside, North Lake, Parks Woods,
Quail Lakes, Stonewood Estates, Village Oaks and West Lane. |

Dolphins Swim Team |
Swimmers ages 4-18 can tryout and join the City Swim Team. The team will compete in six meets, ending with the City Championship Swim Meet.

Prerequisites: 50 yards front crawl, then 25 yards your choice breaststroke and backstroke. Priority space will be granted to returning swimmers and those who meet age group limits. New swimmer tryouts: Swimmers who do not pass the pre-requisites or try out after the team has reached its capacity will be directed to swim lessons or to the new Blue Dolphin Development Team. The developmental team was new in 2008 and practices were held at the Weston Ranch High School pool.
The Development Team does not compete in the dual meet schedule for the Recreation “B” League and swimmers will not be eligible to compete at the City of Stockton Championship Swim Meet. Coaches from both teams will coordinate to ensure the appropriate placement of every swimmer.
