OAK PARK TENNIS CENTER - Birthday Parties and Junior Tennis

Birthday Parties on the Courts

The Oak Park Tennis Complex is available for birthday parties! Cost is $90 for up to 12 participants.

Parties include:

  • Party Leader
  • Three reserved courts
  • Shaded picnic area or use of Clubhouse
  • Oak Park Tennis Birthday T-shirt
  • One hour of ball machine use
 

Party reservations are available on non-tournament weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) during the following times:

  • 10 a.m.-noon
 
  • 12:30-2:30 p.m.
 
  • 3-5 p.m.

Saturday Night Live

A supervised program for kids ages 5-17 is held one Saturday each month from 5 to 8 p.m. from March through September. Activities include supervised use of the courts, tennis-related games or hitting on the ball machine, snacks, and movies. Cost is $5 per person.


Photo of Firemen visit a Saturday Night Live program.The Oak Park Junior Tennis Foundation (OPJTF) was formed to provide opportunities for youngsters of any age or background who want to play tennis. The group was formed over one year ago and is headquartered at Oak Park.

The Board of Directors is comprised of several volunteers an generally awards youth scholarships each year. If you are interested in contributing to the foundation, or would like to volunteer your time to assist with an event, phone (209) 547-1522.
The Foundation oversees the following programs:

Junior Tennis Tournaments
The Foundation holds a Junior Singles Tournament (unsanctioned) for novices (players who do not have a junior ranking) in the spring. The event is open to boys and girls ages 10-18. The tournament is for players who want to learn about tournament play and increase their level of play. The tournament is also used to establish a challenge ladder at Oak Park. Another junior tournament is held in the fall and is a round-robin format. For information, phone (209) 547-1522.
