Hebert Baseball Field

Located in the heart of Oak Park, Hebert Baseball Field is one of the oldest standing ex-pro ball fields still in use today.

The facility is used by dozens of organizations, high school for leagues games, high school travel ball, tournaments and special events. Having hosted the 2009 Senior Little League section tournament and scheduled to host Big League Division II.I
Stockton's Field of Dreams
Hebert Field was built by and for the community. The field is steeped in history and holds special memories for many citizens who have played in or watched a ball game there.

The current condition of the facility is due in large part to the Stockton City Council's decision to allocate funds to upgrade the ball park, and the ingenuity of department staff.

Parks Superintendent now retired had the insight to purchase and refurbish stadium seating from Milwaukee's County Stadium in 2002. Purchase of these used seats saved the City enough that we were able to replace the entire grandstand, and it afforded much-needed lighting.
