Hebert Baseball Field

Located in the heart of Oak Park, Hebert Baseball Field is one of the oldest standing pro ball fields still in use today. The facility is home to the University of the Pacific's men's baseball team and is used by another 70 organizations for leagues games and special events.

Stockton's Field of Dreams

Hebert Field was built by and for the community. The field is steeped in history and holds special memories for many citizens who have played in or watched a ball game there. The current condition of the facility is due in large part to the Stockton City Council's decision to allocate funds to upgrade the ball park, and the ingenuity of department staff. Parks Superintendent Chris Moreno had the insight to purchase and refurbish stadium seating from Milwaukee's County Stadium in 2002. Purchase of these used seats saved the City enough that we were able to replace the entire grandstand, and it afforded much-needed lighting.
