Cheer and Dance Teams

Baton Twirling

Beginner through intermediate levels, ages 5 and up. Baton is a great way to develop balance, hand-eye coordination and build teamwork skills! Instructor Ms. Deanna has batons.

Chi Yoga

Ed Rickman will lead these two classes through a combination of yoga, for balance and flexibility; and the breathing and graceful movement of the ancient Chinese system of Qi Gong for energy and grace. Props, mats, blocks, straps, and chairs are utilized in order to maximize stretches and increase balance and strength. Wonderful for any age or athletic ability. Wear loose fitting clothing and avoid eating prior to class.  Bring a mat.

Judo

Judo is a dynamic sport that demands both physical and mental discipline. Participants learn discipline, self-respect and confidence, as well as self-defense. The Stockton Judo Club teaches ages 8 to adults at all skill levels. U.S. Judo Association registration ($50/year) and purchase of judogi are required. Please call 462-5259 for information before registering.

Pilates Mat Classes

Learn intelligent exercise that will change the shape of your body! The pure Pilates method trains the mind and body to work together towards the single goal of fitness. This basic class includes a full 45-minute workout. Exercises become more challenging as students progress.

Skateboarding Class

Learn basic maneuvering and safety tips. Skateboard Park closed to public during class. Helmet, knee and elbow pads required; rentals available from instructor. Parent must register student and sign release form. Class is for age 5 and up.
