Pre-School Dance

Adult and Teen Dance Classes

Adult Tap: Beginner

(Ages 16 and up). Always wanted to learn the soft shoe? Beginning Adult Tap is a perfect class for people who cannot devote years to dance. Intermediate Adult Tap is ongoing for continuing dancers in both traditional and Rad tap techniques. This class performs at community events (performance is always optional). Round Dance

Round Dance is couple dancing to choreographed routines, similar in rhythm and dance figures to ballroom dance, but led by verbal prompts from instructor.  Students learn figures and terminology in this basic class. Each series will focus on rhythm development and proficiency in one dance, such as Waltz, Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing and others.

Ballet Folklorico Autlense

(Ages 1st grade and up). This fun and energetic class is offered by Doria Del Rio, who has over 12 years of experience in Mexican folk dance. Learn how to coordinate footwork, skirt work, and choreography. Class performs at local civic events (performance optional). Third child in family.

Clogging

This American folk dance is similar to tap dancing, done to almost any kind of upbeat music. A great form of exercise that develops flexibility, increases endurance and strength, relieves stress, and burns around 400 calories per hour.
