Ikebana - Japanese Flower Arranging

"Flowers," says Shuji Ikeda, "provide an opportunity to express oneself and communicate without the benefit of language."  Expand your creative side and build your imagination as you learn traditional and modern Japanese flower arranging with the help and guidance from well known Bay area instructor, Shuji Ikeda. His work can be seen online at http://ikebanadojo.com. Ikebana is a style of flower arrangement that the Japanese developed and have appreciated for centuries. The rules of ikebana were discovered and established through over 500 years of observing nature and the manner in which plants grow. Bring vase, flowers, and scissors. Sign up by April 2.
