Pixie Woods holds 54th birthday party
STOCKTON – Families, children and the young at heart are invited to celebrate Pixie Wood’s 54th birthday Sunday, June 1 from 12 to 5 p.m.
Throughout the day, Pixie Woods visitors can enjoy the beautiful gardens and play areas in the children’s playland. Magic Dan will perform in the Toadstool Theatre at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. The Pixie Woods Board of Directors will serve free birthday cake near the McGregor’s Farm area from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A dedication ceremony for the newly installed Joshua’s Ship will be held at 2 p.m. at Port Pixie.
An expanded schedule begins at Pixie Woods June 4. Summer hours are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (through September 1).
Admission is $3.75 for ages 13 and up and $3 for younger children. Rides on the Pixie Express train, Pixie Queen paddlewheel steamer and the vintage merry-go-round are $1.75 each or three rides for $4.25. Unlimited daily ride passes are $6.50 per person. Families may also purchase a season pass for $50.
