Summer Concert in the Park series nears
Make plans now to picnic with friends at Victory Park on Wednesday nights this summer as Concerts in the Park continue for the 56th year beginning June 4.
The free Concerts in the Park are performed every Wednesday June 4 through August 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the northwest corner of Victory Park.
June’s concert schedule begins with BMX June 4 and continues with the Valley Concert Band June 11. Steve Trucco brings his band’s popular sound to the park June 18, and Stone Cold Corral entertains June 25. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets, lawn chairs and other amenities for an enjoyable evening under Victory Park’s towering oaks.
