Stockton Arts Commission seeks award nominations
STOCKTON - The Stockton Arts Commission is seeking nominations for the 2008 Arts Awards. Deadline for nominations is June 2, 2008.
Community members are invited to submit the names of individuals, organizations and businesses who have shown substantial support of the arts in Stockton. 2007 Recipients included Tony Washington, Margaret Zuckerman, Donald Corren, Rita Wilcox and Dean Gorby.
Categories include the STAR Award (Stockton’s Top Arts Recognition), the Patron Award, the Volunteer Award and the Career Achievement Award. Recipients will be honored at a celebration at the Bob Hope Theatre on October 17, 2008.
