Sign up through May 2 for free Junior Giants summer baseball program
Stockton Parks and Recreation is accepting registration through May 2 for the free Junior Giants summer baseball program. This fun league supported by the San Francisco Giants begins play on July 7.
Divisions include: boys and girls ages 4-5, boys and girls ages 6-7, boys and girls ages 8-10, boys and girls ages 11-13 and new this year: a girls-only division for ages 14-17.
Each player in this FREE league will receive a Jr. Giants t-shirt, baseball hat and a league certificate.
Games will be played Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Locations include McKinley, Stribley, Oak and Van Buskirk parks (subject to change).
Volunteer coaches are needed to support this and other Stockton Parks and Recreation youth sports leagues. Interested volunteers should contact their local community center immediately; background screenings are required prior to league start dates.
