Home Borrower’s Service Offered at Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Libraries
People who are confined to home are invited to enjoy a special library
service: the Home Borrower’s Service, where trained volunteers can
bring library books and other materials to your home. These volunteers,
trained by The Friends of the Stockton Public Library, are matched one-on-one
with a home-bound person. If you need this service or want
to volunteer and help a home-bound person, please contact your nearest
library.
This program is made possible through the generosity of the Friends of
the Stockton Public Library. The Chavez Central Library is part
of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library system. It is
located at 605 N. El Dorado Street in Stockton. For further information,
