It’s no longer necessary to store hazardous
material in the garage waiting for a collection event to
properly dispose of harmful household products. The San Joaquin
County permanent Household Hazardous Waste Consolidation
Facility is now open for business every Thursday, Friday and
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The facility is located near the Stockton
Metropolitan Airport at 7850 South R.A. Bridgeford St. (From
Airport Way turn east onto C.E. Dixon and south on South R.A.
Bridgeford.) The facility is open and free to all residents of
San Joaquin County.
Some of the materials that will be
accepted include unused pesticides, fertilizers, pool chemical,
auto fluids, paints and batteries. There is no charge for
residential disposal.
Proper disposal of hazardous materials at
the facility will help to protect the environment by keeping
harmful products off our streets, out of our storm drains and
waterways.

information call the San Joaquin County Solid Waste Division at
