Don't Feed The Sewer Monster
Don't pour cooking oil down the drain!
No vacie por la coladera el aceite para cocinar!
|
The Story of Cloggity Blob
|
 |
There's someone afoot under our feet;
He lives in the sewer below houses & streets.
He started out small; fed by a trickle
…a few ounces of oil and a half eaten pickle.
He lives in the drains and sewers as well;
When he comes to visit, he gurgles and smells. |
|
What is his name?
It's Cloggity Blob
What is his job?
He makes sewers clog! |
|
 |
|
| |
While in the pipes, he grows quite obese
Eating butter & cheese & french fry grease,
hotdogs & mayonaise & fry pan drippin's
bacon & dresssing & things finger lickin'.
He's lurking about, biding his time
'til the next oily meal comes down a sewer line. |
|
 |
It's scary, my friends, but you need to know:
the more grease he eats, the more he will grow...
He'll come out of the sewer and up through the drains,
into your basement; he can't be contained! |
|
|
Just keep pouring your grease down the sink;
He'll grow fatty legs & upstairs he will stink.
|
 |
| |
 |
Put your grease in a can, wipe those plates off, too
or he'll grow an eyeball & come looking for you!
|
|
|
What can we do?
He is ever so near!
How can we make Cloggity Blob disappear?
|
After a meal, when the dishes are cleaned,
tell Mom and Dad about the monster you've seen.
Cloggity Blob is waiting below
for Fats, Oils, & Greases to flow.
|
I
 |
To stop bad smells and clogs in the drain,
don't encourage a monster;
Please refrain:
from pouring oils & fats
down the drain or the sink.
Before you rinse,
take a moment and think
about what happens to grease;
what the sewer can take... |
Don't feed a monster
that's trying to escape!
