Homes in Midtown Stockton - East Magnolia Street


135 E. Magnolia Street
The 3-story Bennett Apartments are an excellent example of the Spanish Colonial Revival style. Among its notable features are an ornate espadana roof line, a stucco construction typical of its style, and paris of multi-paned, double-hung, sash windows. Decorative molding with tiled patterns add greatly to this impressive architectural marvel.

425 - 431 East Magnolia Street
The George McLeod Apartments were constructed in 1912, and are a representation of a Colonial Revival Craftsman style. It has a hipped roof with a north-south crest and boxed eaves, as well as dormers with louvres. The second floor has a porch and two doors with sixteen panes of glass each. These are flanked by Palladian windows, both upstairs and downstairs.

329 E. Magnolia Street
This 2-story late Victorian home with Queen Anne details has numerous decorative architectural features, including fish scale shingles, a pendant, a boxed bornice, and a finial. The second story has an angled front bay with an open pediment steep roof. The first story has a wooden entry porch sunburst with pedimental gable, which is supported by three columns.

Bungalow Style Home on E. Magnolia Street
This craftsman style bungalow was constructed in 1917, and possesses extended eaves and large brackets, in addition to a recesses porch with double and triple tapered posts The windows have multi paned upper sashes, and there is a gambrel style garage in the rear.
