Homes in Midtown Stockton - East Rose Street


321 E. Rose Street
This 2-story structure was constructed in 1906. It represents a Colonial Revival with its box shape, NeoClassic sized windows, and turned columns. It has a hipped roof and dormer with double arched windows and overhanging eaves. The extended porch also has a hipped roof, and is supported by pairs of turned wood columns.

Rarrington House on E. Rose Street
The Farrington house is a 2-story eclectic mix of style. It possess a multi-hipped and gabled roof with two dormers and a chimney which has been altered by plastering. Two bays sit at the front of this home, each with a set of four double sashed windows. Concrete steps lead to an open porch with two sets of turned columns, and the front door has a bull's-eye shaped window. Aluminum siding is the most noticeable alteration to this corner lot.

336 E. Rose Street
The Brennen House represents the Craftsman style. It has a gambrel roof with a dormer and boxed, extended eaves. The window on the second floor is double sashed with the bottom half divided in two. The first floor has concrete steps with wrought iron rails. The carved paneled door has beveled windows at eye level.

315 E. Rose Street
This structure is of the Delta Stick style. It has a basement and drop siding, as well as a roof that is steeply hipped with a gablet and gables. The gable facing the South has fish scales and a small window. The porch, which has an extended roof, has five thin, turned posts and a decorative balustrade with wooden steps and a concrete wall rail.
