Mayor's Hike and Bike

Mayor's Hike and Bike LogoThe second Mayor's Hike and Bike will benefit the nutrition programs of Catholic Charities, the Emergency Food Bank and the Gospel Center Rescue Mission.

When: Saturday, May 29, 2010
Where: Stockton Ballpark, 404 W. Fremont St

Registration: 6:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Start Time for Walkers/Hikers: 8:45 a.m.

Start Time for Bicyclists: 8:50 a.m.

Family hiking and biking fun in our All America City! Two route options for hikers and two for cyclists. Bring the entire family for a fun event and tour of our city.

Hiking/Walking Routes: Two options; a 2.7 or 6.7 mile route through Stockton's historic downtown, waterfront and beautiful neighborhoods.

Biking Routes: Two biking routes; an 8.7 mile route route up to University of the pacific and an 18.7 mile route on the Calaveras River trail to Buckley Cove, then returning via UOP, the Haggin Museum and back to the Ballpark.

The event concludes at the Stockton Ballpark with a Fitness Fair, with vendors and agencies offering insight on family health and nutrition.  A full sit-down breakfast will also be available, just $10 for adults and $5 for kids 8 and under.

Join with Mayor Ann Johnston, hundreds of walkers and bicyclists, and fun and see Stockton's sites!
