Message from the Chief
I would like to welcome you to the Stockton Police Department's website. Our website is one of many resources used by the Police Department to educate and inform our community on issues relating to crime. Here you will discover information on how to sign up for updates regarding crime, police activities, or traffic issues via the City's Ask Stockton system. You can follow us on Twitter, "Like" us on Facebook and send us web and mobile tips through TipSoft. You will also learn about our various crime prevention and enforcement programs and the online services available. Using these latest technologies allows the Police Department to quickly share information and improve communication with our citizens which ultimately will help toward keeping our community secure.
As a Stockton resident, I have a stake in our community. I believe a police department can only be as good as the partnerships it creates with its community. Together, through information sharing and crime fighting strategies, we share the responsibility of working toward the continued improvement of our quality of life.
I believe the Stockton Police Department is an outstanding organization comprised of the finest employees and dedicated volunteers who all share the same vision of combating crime in our area. Our staff and volunteers continually demonstrate their personal commitment to providing a professional and effective community oriented law enforcement agency.
I hope you will find our website to be both informative and insightful. I invite you to contact me through this website and share your thoughts. Together, we will continue making our city a wonderful place to live and visit.
Chief Eric Jones
