Music Instruction - Intermediate / Advanced Group Strings 

Group strings classes include, reading music and instrumental skill focused on playing unison strings in various genres such as classical, pop, country, jazz, swing, etc.  Chamber music is written for the instrumental combination such as duos, trios, etc. in different genres playing with one instrument to a part.  This class includes minimal home preparation and on public performance every four months (after 4 months of lessons).  Students should rent or buy string instruments.  The goal of this class is enjoyment of playing together in ensemble.  Additional music book fee is required. 

 

Instruction for this course is provided by  Dr. Lubomir Velickovic and is held at the Arnold Rue Community Center.

Music Instruction - Beginning / Intermediate Group Guitar 

Group for the classical acoustic guitar lesson, includes learning how to play and read the music, focusing on playing unison songs in different genres such as classical Youth Group classes intermediate through advanced will cover classical, pop, country, etc.  This class does not require any previous musical knowledge or home preparation.  Students should rent or buy string instruments.  Additional music book fee is required. 

 

Instruction for this course is provided by Dr. Lubomir Velickovic and is held at the Arnold Rue Community Center.

Babysitter Complete

Want to learn more about caring for children?  Course includes CPR certification, first aid, dealing with emergencies, sick children, indoor and outdoor safety, basic children development and skills for entertaining young children.  Participants also learn how to write a resume and how to find babysitting jobs! Course certificate and CPR/Pediatric First Aid card available upon successful completion. 

 

Instruction for this course is provided by Katey Haney and is held at the Life First Training Center, 3422 W. Hammer Lane, Suite F.

Tutoring Classes

Your school age child can have better grades with help from The Learning Game Tutors.  Every student enrolling in this program is evaluated and then special lesson plans are created to meet individual needs.  Subjects include Math Skills, Reading Skills and Writing Skills.
