Movies at the Point

Community Services Department, Recreation Division offers Stockton residents a series of fun and free events to attend on beautiful summer and fall evenings starting again in June.


These free films are projected onto the canopy at Weber Point Event Center, the second Friday of each month from June through October.  Bring family and friends to enjoy a free Movie at the Point and strengthen our community with positive, family-friendly films.


Movies are rated PG.  Titles are subject to change; cancellations may occur due to weather.


Spooktacular Coloring Contest

We are hosting our Spooktacular Movie Night on Friday, October 9, which includes a coloring contest. Candy prizes will be awarded in four age groups at the Spooktacular Movie Night  at 6:30 p.m..

All submission must be received no later than October 2, 2015.  A complete coloring sheet must be submitted to your local City of Stockton Community Center or the Cesar Chavez Library Recreation office. Submission locations :

Movie Series Sponsorship Opportunities

The City's Community Services Department invites you to sponsor his year's Movies at the Point series beginning the summer of 2015.  


This exciting, FREE movie series is held at Weber Point Events Center on the second Friday of each month from June through October.  The film progam's success relies on generous community businesses and organizations.  The Movie Series Sponsorship packet shows how you can help.
