Community Services Department 

The City of Stockton Community Services Department provides the community with a variety of life-enriching programs, classes and events that are held at neighborhood and community parks, event facilities, golf courses, tennis center, aquatic facilities and recreation centers.

Community Center Summer Activities

 

Summer Day Camp

Summer is here!  We are now taking registration for our summer day camp.  These camps are designed to provide children ages 5 - 12 an enriching environment of fun and learning, through daily activities.  Campers will meet new friends, enjoy action-packed games and make dynamic crafts.  Camp hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

 

Summer Fencing Camp

Camp is designed to train in advanced footwork and bladework technique, tactical thinking, and advanced observation and prioritizing. Stay in shape, and bring your fencing thinking to the next level for the upcoming competitive season. There will be a guest Olympic coach on Day 5!

Instruction for this course is provided by Zoran and Maya Djurisic and will be held at the Arnold Rue Community Center. 

 

Summer half-day camp July 22-26:

  • Ages: Youth (ages 7 - 12) 9:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m.
  • Ages: Junior (ages 13 - up) adults 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  
  • Cost: $300

   

Sunday Summer Softball Series

We are now offering a Sunday Summer Slow Pitch Series for adult softball.  Teams will be scheduled for six games at McNair Softball Complex.  The top four teams will advance to the playoff round.  Leagues will be structured according to number of teams registered.
