October 22, 2016

Monster Mash Halloween Bash at Pixie Woods I 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween with your family and friends at Pixie Woods.   This event will feature a costume parade at 12 noon,  face painting,  pumpkin decorating and more!   Plus free entry for kids 12 & under in costume.   


* Don't wait in line,  buy ticket and wristbands in advance at Cesar Chavez Library located at 605 N.El Dorado or at Pixie Woods ticket booth.

October 28, 2016

Fall Harvest at Community Centers | 5pm - 7pm

Come to Arnold Rue, Stribley, Seifert, or Van Buskirk Community Center to enjoy a fun evening in honor of the harvest season and Halloween! There will be games, jump houses, face painting, and more!


November 18, 2016

Holiday Meal at the Community Centers | 5pm - 7pm

Join your family and your neighbors at your nearby Community Center and enjoy a holiday meal together. Participating locations include Arnold Rue, Stribley, Seifert, or Van Buskirk Community Centers. This event is free.


December 3, 2016

Winter Time at Weber Point | Gates open at 6:30pm

Bring family and friends to Weber Point for the annual tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy live entertainment, crafts, and hot cocoa.

  • Acceptable: Chairs, blankets, and picnic-style food
  • Not allowed: Alcohol, smoking, animals, weapons or grills of any kind, flying objects, any other items deemed dangerous to general public

December 16, 2016

Holiday Craft Event at the Community Centers | 5pm - 7pm

Join us at Arnold Rue, Stribley, Seifert, or Van Buskirk Community Center for an evening of craft making and holiday celebration. Enjoy time with your family and your neighbors at this free community event.


December 20, 2016

Cookies with Santa at Oak Park Senior Center | 1pm - 3pm

Enjoy time with your grandparents, family, neighbors, and community at the Oak Park Senior Center for a holiday cookie decorating event! This free event is another way the City's Community Services Department encourages fun activities to build a sense of family and community.
