Payment Information

The City of Stockton offers several convenient options for paying utility bills including: automatic payment direct from your bank, website, mobile app, automated telephone system, mailed, or in-person.

 

Automatic Payments

Experience the convenience of knowing that your bill is paid, on the due date, directly from your bank account.  Once established, it happens automatically each month.  Complete the form and return to the City - no fee applies.

  • To establish or cancel your automatic payment or to change the checking account information on file, please complete and submit an Establish/Cancel/Change form.

 

Online City Website

Create an online account and pay online with your Visa, MasterCard, or debit card by visiting our City of Stockton Utility Customer Service Center Online Account Access and Bill Pay - no fee applies.  

 

Mint Bills App (for mobile devices)

Mint Bills mobile app allows you to pay your City of Stockton Utility Bill through a free-to-download app using a smart phone, tablet device, or PC.  A fee applies for credti/debit card payments; no fee for payment by check.  May take up to five business days to be received by the City.

 

Mint Bills One-Time Payment

Mint Bills website allows you to pay your City of Stockton Utility Bill on a one-time basis.  A fee applies for credit/debit card payments; no fee for payment by check.  May take up to five business days to be received by the City.

 

Direct Payment

  • Make electronic payments using your bank's bill payment service, or
  • Use Direct Payment Plan and request your monthly utility payment to be set up to be paid directly from your bank account each month on the due date. 
    • Contact Utility Billing Customer Service for more on this option, or enroll online by clicking on the Direct Payment Plan website provided under External Links below.
    • To establish or cancel your automatic payment or to change the checking account information on file, please complete and submit an Establish/Cancel/Change form.

Telephone (Automated System)

Pay by telephone with a check, Visa, Discover, or MasterCard using the automated phone system by calling the Utility Billing Customer Service.

  • Customer service representatives cannot take your payments over the phone.

Mailing Payments

Mail your payment by check in the envelope provided with your bill. Please include your account number or billing stub with your mailed payment and send to:

  • Payment must be received by the City before or on the due date each month.

 

In-Person

City Hall

Pay in person during regular business hours at City Hall, Administrative Services Department. 

  • Pay at the counter for payment to post the same day.
  • Pay at the dropbox by check only; payment will post on the next open business day for the City.
    • Please do not use the dropbox for overdue payments.

 

MoneyGram

Pay at any MoneyGram location for a small MoneyGram service fee.  Provide the representative with the receive code "7271" and have a copy of your bill with you - fee applies.
