The City's Utility Billing Customer Service Center is here to answer all your questions regarding your water, sewer, storm water, garbage, and collection bills.  Our customer service staff can open and close utility accounts, issue monthly utility bills, provide explanations of billed services charges, collect and process payments.

Water services in the Stockton area are provided by the City of Stockton and California Water Service Company (Cal Water).  To verify your water service provider, please enter your service address on our About Your Address web page

Corrected July 2017 Utility Bills Sent to Some Customers

City water utility customers with bill dates between July 11 through July 19 received bills in July with missing rates.  This error impacted approximately19,000 of our 55,000 customers who receive water service from the City of Stockton.

 

Corrected bills are being issued. If you were impacted by this error, the re-issued bill will be labeled “CORRECTED JULY BILL” at the top. The corrected bill reflects the amount due and an adjusted due date.

  • Payment made…If you already made payment, your account has been credited.  You may pay the balance using the corrected bill or with the August bill.
    • Customers impacted by this error will not be charged late fees on partial balances carried forward and paid with the August bill.
  • Payment not made…If you have not made payment, please use the corrected bill and submit payment by the due date indicated at the top of the bill.
  • Automatic payments…If you have established automatic payments through checking or by credit card, the incorrect bill amount was not charged.  The corrected bill amount will be charged on the due date.

We apologize for the error. The problem has been fixed and procedures improved to ensure that future bills are correct.
