An application for a Certificate of Appropriateness must be completed and filed, with any applicable fee, with the Community Development Department. Application includes required plans, specifications, and photographs showing the proposed change in architectural appearance and new design structure as well as texture of materials. The applicant must provide evidence in support of the findings required by the Stockton Municipal Code.
Application Review Procedures
Each application will be reviewed by the Director to ensure the application is consistent with the purpose and intent of this chapter. The application will be transmitted to the Cultural Heritage Board for evaluation and written recommendation.
