Golf Tournaments

As the home of the "Best Values in San Joaquin County" Stockton offers two beautiful tree-shaded 18-hole golf courses, and a Par 3 Executive Course to serve both local and out-of-town golfers.

Easy access, sunny skies and full service facilities located adjacent to parks with tennis, handball, softball, soccer, baseball and picnic areas make these courses an ideal venue for tournament or recreational play.

San Joaquin County Amateur Golf Championship

June 6-7

Swenson Golf Course, 6803 Alexandria Place, Stockton

Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) members are invited to vie for the title of amateur champion and earn prizes in the San Joaquin County Amateur Golf Championship Tournament at Swenson Park Golf Course June 6-7, 2009.

The Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) points tournament is open to golfers in three flights: Championship (0-5 handicap), First (6-9 handicap) and Second (10-14 handicap). Start times are TBD based on entries.

Entry forms must be accompanied by the $100 entry fee and may be dropped off at either course or mailed to:

Deadline for entry is 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 2. No late entries. Handicaps for this tournament will be May’s 2009 NCGA indexes and will be verified prior to the tournament.

Golf tournament applications are accepted one year in advance beginning October 1 of the current year. Applications are available at all golf courses or contact our Golf Manager.
