![]() Delta Reflections Lighted Boat ParadeSaturday, December 6, 2008
The Lighted Boat Parade usually forms at Light 36 in the Stockton San Joaquin Delta. The parade generally commences at 5 p.m. at Light 39, reaching Weber Point at approximately 6 p.m. Arrive early for the annual boat parade and enjoy entertainment and food while you wait. Gates to Weber Point Events Center open at 5 p.m., with the decorated boats arriving at about 6 p.m.
The Fourmost Barbershop Quartet will be strolling the grounds offering a wide selection of Christmas carols and holiday songs from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Java J’z Mobile Café will be offering hot chocolate, specialty coffee drinks, soda, smoothies, hot dogs and snacks.
Santa Claus will be greeting families and children at the brand new fanciful Holiday House in Janet Leigh Plaza near the Cinema from 5 to 8 p.m. Decorated boats come from the Stockton Deep Water Channel and take one time around Mc Leod Lake and return to the Deep Water Channel. This is the 29th annual Lighted Boat Parade and it is a free event sponsored by Marina West Yacht Club. It is a wonderful event to kick off the holiday sesaon and takes place rain or shine! This event is a holiday gift, from Marina West Yacht Club, to the residents of San Joaquin County.
