RW - Anatomy of a Community Activist, One Act Play

Mr. Ralph L. White is the subject of the one act play, RW- The Anatomy of a Community Activist. This play looks to answer the questions, What motivates RW and why does he fight the fights others ignore?

RW is the result of a two-year study and numerous interviews with Mr. White by Ernest Johnson, a local playwright.

The play will be performed June 12 at 7 pm and June 13 at 3 pm at the Unity Southern Baptist Church, 1545 Rose Marie Lane in Stockton.

Tickets: $15 adults, $10 students available at door only.

New Way Of Life: Summer Outreach

Outreach to offer information about New Way of Life’s community resources and Violence Prevention. We currently run a resource line for men in Stockton looking for housing, recovery, legal issues, employment, and violence prevention.

Once funded, we will start hiring and open an emergency shelter for at risk men, with mandatory life employment skills, case management, and violence prevention tools.

Our program will deter violence in our communities and better families and brighter futures!

We will also be handing out summer supplies.
