Superman Film - Presented by Friends of the Fox Theatre StocktonCon

“Superman” to be shown at Fox Bob Hope Theatre on Friday, August 7. Doors open at 6pm, movie at 7pm.

In conjunction with StocktonCon, $2 discount with your StocktonCon ticket in hand!, the FoxBob Hope Theatre located at 242 East Main Street in Downtown Stockton is proud to present the most classic superhero film “Superman” starring Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, and Marlon Brando. The film will be show as pre-opening to StocktonCon event on Friday evening August 7.

StocktonCon follow ons Saturday and Sunday, August 8 and 9. Arrive in Costume!

This film will be shown on the BIG Fox screen in widescreen splendor in the beautifully restored Fox Theatre.

The film tells the origin story of Superman and was a monster hit in 1978, spawning three sequels in the next few years.

The original Superman was nominated for 3 Academy Awards.
