The top wrestlers in the Sac-Joaquin Section will descend upon Stockton Arena for the SJS Boys Wrestling Masters Tournament.This is the final step toward qualifying for the CIF State Championships at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield.Included among the field of 448 wrestlers are Bella Vista 138-pounder Shayne Tucker and Bear Creek 220-pounder J.T. Goodwin. Tucker and Goodwin are ranked No. 1 in the state in their weight classes by The California Wrestler magazine. Also, Elk Grove senior Martin Ramirez, a lighter weight, will try for his third Section championship.Wrestling begins on both days at 9 a.m. The Friday tournament championships and medal matches are slated to begin at 3p.m. and the tournament is expected to run until approximately 8 p.m.Doors open both days at 8 a.m. Tickets Students $8 - Adults $15 Tickets are available at the door
