The VNCARES Committee and pharmacy students at the University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences are hosting our 5th Annual Pacific Family Health Fair on March 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke?s Catholic Church on 3847 N. Sutter Street, Stockton, CA 95204.

The Pacific family Health fair attracts over 30 vendors and 500 Stockton community members to take part in our many free health services such as blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol and osteoporosis screenings. Many local health organizations will also be offering some of their services. Children of all ages can take part in educational games and activities about mindful eating, staying active, and healthy lifestyle tips.

Furthermore, we will be hosting an art and essay contest for the students of the Stockton Unified School District. This year, we hope to get the community more involved by inviting out the local Fire department, Police station and the Mayor as well.
