Energy Efficiency - Industry Case Studies
| Utilizing Energy Efficient Technologies to Maximize Productivity |
| Improved productivity, product quality and health & safety issues are of concern to most industries. Global competition, environmental regulations, and limited energy/water resources can, more than ever, affect a company's decisions (and profit). "Wasted" energy is no different than wasted raw material, labor or opportunity, for "waste is a symptom of a problem. |
|
Wherever there is waste there are changes that must be made to make the business more efficient, more profitable. Like a canary in a mine shaft, waste alerts us to mistakes we are making in the way we do things".
In this site you may refer to industry specific topics that have been presented in the form of case studies or demonstration projects. Each section begins with a short Executive Summary. The full Case Study is then presented. As this site is a continuing "work-in-progress", we invite you to share the success of your projects with us for inclusion in this site. As new information becomes available to us we will increase the number of industries represented on this site. Our goal is to share as much energy efficiency information as possible with industry, researchers and the public. |
