San Joaquin Regional Transit District Board

Function:

Supervise and regulate every facility owned and operated by the Transit District, including the fixing of rates, rentals, charges and classifications, and the making and enforcement of rules, regulations, contracts, practices, and scheduled, for or in connection with any transit facility owned or controlled by the District.

Board established pursuant to California Public Utilities Code Division 10, Part 5

Residency Requirements:

Must be a resident of district and have resided within the district at least one year immediately prior to appointment to the Board. Stockton City Council appointees must be residents of the City of Stockton.

Remuneration:

$50 per regular and special meeting (with a maximum of $100 per calendar month).

Remuneration established by Public Utilities Code Sec. 50087; amended by Stats. 1992, c. 995 (S.B. 791)
