Voter Registration
If you would like to register to vote, you may do so by completing a Voter Registration Form. The deadline for registering has been extended to 15 days prior to an election. To receive a sample ballot, you must register no later than 29 days prior to an election. If you have moved, changed your name or changed your political party affiliation since you last voted, it is necessary for you to re-register.
Forms may be obtained from:
- The Stockton City Clerk's Office and City Hall lobby
425 N. El Dorado Street, Stockton
- The Stockton-San Joaquin Library and branches
- Voter Registration Hotline: 1-800-345-VOTE. A voter registration form will be mailed to the caller.
The completed form should be forwarded to the Registrar of Voters. Additional information about voter registration or voting by absentee ballot may be obtained by calling the Registrar of Voters at (209) 468-2885.
Remember, people have died for the right to vote; don't let that sacrifice be wasted. YOUR VOTE COUNTS! |
