Children's Museum of Stockton Summer Camp

The Children's Museum offers several weeks of themed summer camps each season. Camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for kids ages 5-12. Extended care is offered before and after camp for an additional charge. Sign up at the Children's Museum or call (209) 465-4FUN (4386) for more information.

June 1-5	#1 SUMMER FUN...DAYCAMP ONE! A little of "this" and a little of "that"! A week of variety is where it's at!
June 8-12	#1 EARTH HEROES Turn trash to treasures! Place first in the water Olypmics! Find out about carbon footprints! Be an earth hero - go green and save the world!	#2 ADVENTURE CAMP Challenge your body! Challenge your mind! Arts and Crafts, obstacle courses, tournaments and games designed to make everyone come out a winner!
June 15-19	#4 MAGICAL MASKS From goopy plaster to paper mache! Let your imagination be your guide as you experience the world of 3D art and create some amazing masks!	#5 INCREDIBLE EDIBLES You'd be deceived if you believed all that you read about food. A week full of delicious, nutritious food. Every day's a social occasion!
June 22-26	#6 INTRO TO JUDO The fundamentals of this world class Olympic self defense sports taught by Judo experts. Always a favorite camp at the museum!	#7 AWESOME ART Textures, dimensions, colors and more challenge your senses and open the door to the world of awesome art.
June 29- July 3	#8 LET'S CELEBRATE...CAMP NUMBER EIGHT! Oh, say can you se, by the dawn's early light? Flag waving campers, oh, what a sight!
July 6-10	#9 MY TOWN Plan and build the roads, buildings and vehicles all around our town. Featuring planes, trains and automobiles.	#10 ADVENTURE CAMP Challenge your body! Challenge your mind! Arts and Crafts, obstacle courses, tournaments and games designed to make everyone come out a winner!
July 13-17	#11 OFF BROADWAY Exit, stage right! Be the star in a "mini" production on our real stage as you perform for your family and friends.	#12 AMAZING SCIENCE Magnets, solar ovens and more! Discover amazing and unusual science through experiements, activities and exploration.
July 20-24	#13 WOODSHOP With your work apron and goggles on, pick up your hammer and nail away building birdhouses, basketball hoops and cars!	#14 AWESOME ART Textures, dimensions, colors and more challenge your senses and open the door to the world of awesome art.
July 27-31	#15 WHEELS ON FIRE One wheel! Two wheels! Three wheels! Four! The world of wheels we will explore! Bicycles, scooters and skateboards galore!	#16 VIDEO DIARY Lights! Camera! Action!Direct and star in a video production with your friends. Then make your debut at the Friday Film Festival!
August 3-7	#17 SNAP IT AND SCRAP IT Make memories to share with your family and friends by taking pictures and making a themed scrapbook.	#18 MYSTERY MUMMIES What's inside a pyramid? Who's in the "Valley of the Kings"? The secrets of Egypt are unlocked when the mysteries of mummies are revealed!
August 10-14	#19 TREASURE SEEKERS "X" marks the spot! Look for treasure in pirate ships, King Tut's tomb, castle cities and in space. Create and follow a treasure-seeking adventure.	#20 AMAZING SCIENCE Magnets, solar ovens and more! Discover amazing and unusual science through experiements, activities and exploration.
