2006 Business License Renewal
2006 Business License Tax Renewal
You may not have to wait in line! If your business is licensed under one of these Stockton Municipal Code (SMC) Classifications:
You have a 30 day grace period to renew. Due dates have been changed to expedite processing of business license renewals. If you have your renewal application form, please complete it and mail it with your payment. No penalties will be charged on business license renewals
that have an April 30, 2006 due date, if the renewals are mailed with
payment of tax due and postmarked by the United States Post Office
on or before Effective 2006 your business license has a new renewal date. Renewal applications will be sent to businesses about 45 days before their new renewal date. Most businesses can renew their license by mail. The renewal tax will be for the period from the expiration date of your 2005 license to the new expiration date. During this transition year, some license classifications will be required to pay for a period of more than 12 months and for others it will be less. The renewal application will explain how to calculate your taxes due. Please contact the City of Stockton Business Licensing Unit if you do not receive a renewal notice in the mail before the end of the new renewal month that applies to you. MAJOR RENEWAL DATES

renewal date. City of Stockton Business Licensing Unit (209) 937-8313. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. |
