Historic Bob Hope (Fox) Theatre in Downtown Stockton
Save My Seat Campaign

	The "Save My Seat" campaign for the Fox Theatre is designed to entice several thousand Stocktonians to forever purchase a seat and have their name affixed to it in the venerable downtown theatre. The campaign's aim is to sell up to 2000 seats at $250 per seat.
For a $250 contribution, you can have a 1"x3" brass plaque with your name on it fixed to one of the seats being newly reupholstered. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to permanently commemorate your family, business, friends, or the memory of a loved one and others who you would like recognized. Generations of audiences will enjoy the magic of live entertainment from these seats, and you'll have the satisfaction of being noted for taking part in making that experience a delightful one. The Save My Seat campaign is sponsored by the Friends of the Fox, the Downtown Stockton Alliance, the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Stockton. Each seat purchased helps pay for the reupholstering of the seat (about $200 each) with the balance going into the Friends of the Fox fund for cultural programming and promoting the refurbished theatre. Each Save My Seat buyer receives a brass plaque with their name affixed to each seat and a one-year membership in Friends of the Fox with benefits such as member receptions, advance notice of performances, choice of the best seats in the house, season ticket upgrades and discounts on special events.
