Stockton Arts Commission

It was formally established by ordinance in 1978 to serve as the City's arts promotion and service organization. The Commission operates within the City's Community Service Department and business is conducted by the Mayor and Council.

Mission Statement

Stockton Arts Commission is the arts advocacy agency of the City of Stockton. It serves as a catalyst to support, sustain, and strengthen the community by increasing awareness, opportunities, and involvement in arts and cultural activities.
