INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT


SEC. 13-512. REQUEST FOR INSPECTION:

The Permit Holder shall notify the Director's designated representative two full business days prior to commencing any work which is either covered by the Grading Permit or conditions on the Building Permit. Prior to commencing work the applicant shall be responsible for having all the appropriate BMPs in place. When the work has been completed and permanent BMPs, if appropriate, are in place, the applicant shall notify the Director designated representative, two full business days prior to requesting a final inspection. (Added by Ordinance 005-97C.S. — Effective July 1, 1997)

SEC. 13-513. AUTHORITY TO INSPECT AND PHOTOGRAPH:

For the purpose of verifying compliance with this section, the Director and/or the Director's designated representative may inspect the project and the BMPs throughout the life of the project. The Permit Holder shall be responsible for maintaining the BMPs throughout the life of the Permit and any other regulatory mandated time period and shall modify the BMPs if required by the Director and/or the Director's designated representative to enhance their performance or if the BMP is determined to be inappropriate based on field conditions. City inspectors may, in the course of their inspection, photograph any condition on the project site thought by the inspector to possibly constitute a violation of this part or any local, state, or federal law and any mechanism, apparatus, means or method thought to contribute to or facilitate the suspected violation.
