Division 8
ALTERNATE METHOD FOR COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENTS

Article 1
General Provisions


SEC. 9-531. APPLICATION:

This Chapter shall provide alternative and supplemental plans for the collection and payment of assessments made pursuant to this Code.

SEC. 9-532. DECLARATION OF APPLICATION:

When it is determined that this Division shall apply it shall be so declared in the resolution of intention.

SEC. 9-533. ADVANCE BY CITY:

The City shall advance all costs of the improvements and the costs incidental to the proceedings, and shall have all rights provided therefor in this Code, including the right to collect interest on advances.

SEC. 9-534. CITY AS OWNER:

The City shall become the owner of the warrant issued pursuant to Article 2, Division 5 of this Code, and of the assessment levied pursuant to any Article of this Code, and shall possess all powers of collecting said assessment as provided in any part of this Code.

SEC. 9-535. BONDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED:

No bonds shall be issued to represent assessments, and they shall be payable and collected as provided in this Division.
