FEES OF CITY ENGINEER

(For work performed in or upon public streets, sidewalks, sewers, etc.)

SEC. 9-038. FEES OF CITY ENGINEER:

The City Engineer shall charge and collect the cost of all work performed by him or under his direction under the provisions of the general laws of the State of California affecting the improvement of public thoroughfares, highways, roads, boulevards, streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places, and sidewalks, for the construction of sewers, and all other public work. Charges shall cover the cost of all service rendered by the City Engineer, including all field work, all office and clerical work in connection therewith, and all work in connection with the preparation of the assessment or prepared in the office of the City Engineer.

SEC. 9-038.1. DISPOSAL OF FEES WHEN COLLECTED:

All fees collected in accordance herewith shall be delivered to the Director of Finance and be placed by him to the credit of the General Fund.
